2017 Cadillac XT5 Updates and Pricing
A reinvention of Cadillac’s SRX crossover, the XT5 was designed to accommodate to its driver’s needs, while also expressing a distinctive sense of style. Based on all-new architecture, the XT5 maintains SRX exterior dimensions while simultaneously enlarging the interior and dropping nearly 300 pounds. Cadillac claims that the new crossover weighs in at 3,999 pounds with front-drive and 4,277 pounds with all-wheel drive, making it 278 pounds lighter than the SRX.
Under the hood the Cadillac XT5 sports a 3.6-liter V6, which offers 310 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. With the weight loss of the vehicle, as well as the switch from a six-speed to an eight-speed automatic, both acceleration and fuel economy should improve. Four-wheel drive is standard in the XT5 and all-wheel drive is optional. The vehicle’s AWD system engages various clutches in response to throttle or front slippage for sure-footedness on all road surfaces.

New XT5 Crossover Design and Features
Cadillac’s new crossover offers a generously sized interior filled with advanced features to help keep drivers safe and connected, while the chiselled exterior lines give the XT5 a sleek finish.
The crossover’s cabin was designed with both comfort and efficiency in mind with class-leading legroom for front and rear passengers and remote fold-down rear seats that allow for a number of unique seating and cargo arrangements. With the rear seats folded down, the XT5 offers 63 cubic feet of cargo room. Interior color options are Jet Black and Maple Sugar with black accents.
The XT5’s impressive interior is balanced by its beautiful exterior. Long, chiseled lines and jewel-like headlamps give the new crossover a touch of elegance. The crossover also offers optional features, such as 20” wheels, an Ultraview sunroof, and a hands-free liftgate. Exterior color options are Crystal White, Stellar Black, Silver Coast, Red Passion, Radiant Silver, Dark Granite, and Dark Adriatic Blue.
