2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class design and engine specs
Much like its predecessors, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class design sits between the S- and C-Class models. According to recent whisperings, the newest E-Class will adopt the MRA (Modular Rear Architecture) platform from other Mercedes models, making it a lighter, more efficient model. Under the hood, it is speculated that Mercedes-Benz will offer a straight-six engine (with smaller engines also offered in the lineup). It is also expected that the new E-Class will see a high-performance model from Mercedes-AMG, offering a nearly 600-horsepower V-8 engine.
