2018 Audi RS3 2.5-liter turbo five-cylinder engine specs
The Audi RS3 will sport the same 2.5-liter turbo engine, which already outputs an impressive amount of horsepower. While that is the case, an even more impressive engine should be making its way into the model, and it should produce a whopping 400 horsepower. The new engine should be a completely revamped piece of equipment, sharing nothing with the current engine’s build or set-up. The sedan is expected to be outfitted with a seven-speed automatic transmission and reach a top speed of either 155 or 174 miles per hour. Further details surrounding the new model and its specs should be released closer to the Beijing Auto show, where the new engine is supposedly going to make its debut.
Audi RS3 based off of the A3 Concept
If you’re wondering where this bright idea came from, let’s travel back in time to 2011. Early in the year, Audi released a 408-horsepower 2.5-liter A3 concept, which would- six years later- become the model for the RS3 sedan.
