2018 Land Rover Velar design, technology, and engine specs

The 2018 Land Rover Velar is a new model in the lineup, but it offers the same beautiful design, updated technology, and powerful engine specifications of its predecessors. Design
The Velar is a medium-sized SUV, perfect for drivers who want something between large and small. The door handles are flat against the side, to give the vehicle a sleek style that not many other vehicles possess. In addition, there’s a rear spoiler designed to improve the way the vehicle drives through the wind – which can also help with fuel economy. The foil-stamped front grille also gives the model a unique look.
Infotainment System
If there’s one area Land Rover can exceed, it’s the area of technology, and the Velar is a prime example of it. The model contains the Land Rover InControl® Touch Pro™ Duo infotainment system, which gracefully incorporates two touchscreens. The infotainment setup allows drivers to use several of the vehicle’s functions at once. Using these functions is more safe when the Head-Up Display is included.
Performance
The Land Rover Velar also shines in the area of performance. Not only does the model offer its passengers an all-wheel drive system, but it also provides a V-6 and four-cylinder lineup of engines. Combined with the 8-speed Automatic Transmission that’s offered, the model is able to respond quickly to driver commands. In addition, the model is capable of off-roading, like many of the Land Rover models that came before.
