Luxury-grade performance

If there’s one thing Mercedes never skimps on, it’s power. The updated S-Class comes with a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter biturbo engine, which offers drivers a stunning 603 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. The model can accelerate from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. If that isn’t enough to impress, we don’t know what is.

Premium interior

Another area where Mercedes always shines is in the interior. The design elements and lighting features of the S-Class give it an extra bit of uniqueness.

Design

Inside, Nappa leather is included on the supportive seating for both the driver and passengers. There are special, embossed AMG logos on the armrest, giving it a special stamp. There is also an analog clock on display in the center, giving the model a classy touch.

Lighting options

The interior lighting uses LED technology to provide lasting, efficient ambiance. Drivers also have the option to choose 64 different colors, as well as a number of settings. The lighting elements show up on the trim, center display, glove compartment, door pockets and more.

How much will it cost?

The new model pricing has not been officially released yet, but we’d expect that it will cost a bit more than the current S-Class. The currently-released model begins around $100,000.
