How does Night View Assist work?

The system utilizes LED and infrared technology to detect objects in front of the car. Once the obstructions are detected, the vehicle highlights the object on a dashboard screen, making it visible to the driver. When a Mercedes-Benz model is equipped with the technology, it can see objects up to 525 feet in front of the vehicle.
